Support

The fastest way to get help is to email [email protected] from the address associated with your Shopify store. Including your myshopify.com domain in the message helps us look up your install quickly.

How the scan works

GreenClaims reads your product and content copy (read-only) and runs a two-pass detector: a deterministic dictionary flags potentially restricted terms, then an AI adjudicator judges each one in context to decide whether it's an actual compliance risk. Flagged claims appear as issues with a risk rating and an AI-drafted rewrite you can copy into Shopify yourself - GreenClaims never edits your store.

Common questions

A claim was flagged that I think is fine - what do I do?

Open the issue to see why it was flagged and the suggested rewrite. If the claim is substantiated, add it to your claims registry with the supporting evidence so it's recorded as reviewed. Context matters - some uses of a term are perfectly compliant, and the adjudicator tries to account for that, but you always have the final say.

Does GreenClaims change my products?

No. It requests only read-only scopes (read_content, read_products, read_locales, read_translations) and never writes to your store. To apply fixes across many products at once, our sister app BulkSheet can find and replace wording in bulk.

How do I turn on monitoring or email alerts?

Continuous monitoring, scheduled re-scans, instant email alerts, and immutable audit snapshots are all available on Pro. Plus adds automatic snapshots on every scheduled scan and weekly evidence-expiry alerts. Enable them from Settings in the embedded app after upgrading. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

How do I stop receiving alert emails?

Every alert and digest email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can change or remove your notification address anytime under Settings in the app.

Can I use GreenClaims on multiple stores?

Yes. Each Shopify store has its own install. If you manage multiple stores, reach out and we'll help you get set up.
